How to Sync Products to Social Chat

Before creating your first live shopping event, you need to sync the products from your e-commerce store. This allows users to add to cart and checkout during video shopping events.

Note: If you're a Shopify store, products will automatically sync to the Social Chat platform. If you are an enterprise customer that does not use Shopify, please contact your customer success agent for assistance in adding your products.

How to Create a Product

  1. In the left sidebar, navigate to Products > Create a New Product.
  2. Fill out the product form, paying close attention to the product url section. 
  3. You can input two types of links in the product url section.

      1. Product page link: customers will be directed to the product page. Button will appear as "View Product".

      2. Buy link: customers will be able to add to cart directly from the video interface. Button will appear as "Add to Cart".
  4. Click Create Product
