While you will walk through setting up your camera, microphone and screen sharing permissions in the Pre-stream experience, you are always welcome to set the permissions manually. This article will help you do that.

For people using Safari

You must allow permissions on both a (1) operating system and (2) browser level.

For example, if you are an Apple user (operating system) and you use Chrome (browser), you must allow permissions in your Apple system preferences as well as within the Chrome browser.

1. Operating System Permissions

Mac

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Privacy & Security
    • On the left sidebar, select Camera
    • For microphone permissions, select Microphone
    • For screen sharing permissions, select Screen Recording.
    • Find your browser of choice (Safari or Chrome) within the panel and ensure it has a blue toggle slid on next to it.
